Denver Botanic Gardens celebrates Día del Niño throughout the month of April with stories and planting kits available in the Helen Fowler Library. The Helen Fowler Library is open Tuesday – Sunday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Admission to the library is free for the general public and members. No admission ticket is required for the following Día del Niño activities.

NATURE TALES - STORYTIME

Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. throughout the month of April | Bilingual (English/Spanish) Nature Tales are offered on April 15. Bring your budding naturalists to Nature Tales Family Story Time and discover the wonders of nature with your child. Together, we will explore books that tell the stories of the natural world, of the garden, and of our own backyard. Best for ages infant through 8, all ages welcome.

SPRING PLANTING KIT

Spring is the perfect time to start to think about planting seeds. In celebration of Día del Niño, the Gardens are offering free planting kits for children to take home. Each kit includes the instructions (in both English and Spanish) and supplies you will need to start some plants from seeds! Spring Planting Kits are available to pick up at the Helen Fowler Library Tuesday – Sunday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. while supplies last.

DÍA DEL NIÑO CHILDREN’S BOOK DISPLAY

Our favorite children’s gardening books will be on display for families to enjoy while visiting the library throughout the month of April. Our selection of books includes titles in both English and Spanish. Stop by the library with your family to read some books and pick up your planting kit to take home.

Los Jardines Botánicos de Denver celebran el Día del Niño durante todo el mes de abril con historias y kits de siembra disponibles en la Biblioteca Helen Fowler. El Centro Newman esta abierto de martes a domingo de 10 a.m. a 4 p.m. La entrada a la biblioteca es gratuita para el público en general y miembros de los Jardines Botánicos. CUENTOS PARA LA FAMILIA: HISTORIAS DE LA NATURALEZA

KIT DE SIEMBRA DE PRIMAVERA

La primavera es el momento perfecto para empezar a pensar en sembrar semillas. Para celebrar el Día del Niño, los Jardines ofrecerán kits de siembra gratuitos para que los niños se los lleven a casa. ¡Cada kit incluye las instrucciones (en inglés y español) y los suministros que necesitará para iniciar algunas plantas a partir de semillas! Los kits de siembra de primavera están disponibles para recoger en la Biblioteca Helen Fowler de martes a domingo de 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. mientras duren los suministros.

EXHIBICIÓN DE LIBROS INFANTILES: DÍA DEL NIÑO

Nuestros libros favoritos de jardinería para niños estarán en exhibición para que las familias los disfruten mientras visitan la biblioteca durante todo el mes de abril.
