In collaboration with the Mexican Cultural Center and Greeley-Evans District 6, UNC’s Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and the Department of Chicana/o and Latinx Studies will host a series of workshops around altar making and the cultural significance of Día de los Muertos at the UNC’s Commons. The event will feature Baile Folklorico performances, educational presentations, and food. Come and join us to create our community altar. Everyone is welcome to visit the community altar, leave personal offerings, or make flowers to celebrate the lives of their loved ones.
