Día de los Muertos is recognized all over Mexico with plazas in each community decorated with elaborate and sacred alters adorned with beautiful arrangements of flowers, candles, and the favorite food of loved ones dedicated to the deceased. This day commemorates honoring loved ones who have passed on and venerating their return. This celebration incorporates history, culture, science, and other educational aspects that participants learn and integrate into their lives.
The Mexican Cultural Center continues this tradition with strong collaborative relationships with numerous organizations, including the following:
