The Denver Public Library invites you to celebrate Día del Niño! Día del Niño, or Day of the Child, is a celebration that originated in Mexico and dates back to 1925. It is celebrated each year in April. This day is about recognizing the importance of children in society and promoting their well-being.

In honor of Día del Niño, we celebrate with kindness. Join us for a kindness rock painting
workshop. Kindness Rocks and the City is about creating positive moments for those that need it most. How do you know if you need a Kindness Rock? Well, when it’s found by you, it’s meant for you. Once the words of encouragement are taken to heart, the special, one-of-a-kind rock is yours to keep, or feel free to pass it on to someone that you know needs a bit of cheer. To celebrate this awesome holiday, join us for a piñata making workshop!
